Jessie B. Heisler, 77, of Winnebago passed away peacefully in her home, Thursday, January 9, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born, June 27, 1936 in Rockford, to Everett and Jennett (Taft) Randerson.
Jessie attended West High School, where she graduated in 1954. She married Stephan Guldin in 1955. He preceded her in August of 1973. She went on to marry Gerald Heisler, on May 26, 1978.
Jessie was employed at Amerock for many years, before becoming the first female patrol officer of the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department where she faithfully served for 26 years. She was an FOP 50 member, and proud woman rights activist, who fought for and won, equal pay and rights for woman of the Winnebago County Police Department.
Her hobbies included, camping with the family, bowling, playing cards, gambling, shopping with the grandchildren, reading, crocheting, hosting pool parties, crossword puzzles, game shows, and board games. She also was a member of the Loyal Order of The Moose club in her younger years.
She will be truly missed.
Her survivors include, her husband, son, Garry Guldin; daughters, Becky (Dave) Hilton, Cheryl (Denny) Armato; step-children, Bob (Sally) Heisler, Mark Heisler, Alan Heisler, Jeff Heisler, and Maggie (Frank) Zimmerman; brothers, Bill (Jeanette) Randerson, and Dick (Carmen) Randerson, sister, Pat Randerson; grandchildren, Stephan (Tara) Hilton, Kelsey (Hilton) Brown, Lisa Hilton, Cara (Randy) Warkentien, James Habadank, Brooke Guldin, Erin Heisler, Pete Heisler, Amy Heisler, Angie Heisler, Alan Heisler, Kayla Heisler, Chris Heisler, Stephanie Heisler, Corissa Arle, Alyssa Arle, Bree Zimmerman, Zach Zimmerman; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by, her parents, and daughter, Debbie Guldin.
