Jimmy E. Williams passed away at his home in Shawnee on January 29, 2013. He was 8o years, 10 months and 13 days old. He was born March 16, 1932 in Depew, OK to Dwight Layman and Letha May Anderson Williams. Jimmy was an Air Force Veteran where he was a member of the Honor Guard. He was a resident of Shawnee for 40 years and worked for the FAA as a sheet metal fabricator for 36 years. He loved to go bass fishing and to Fire Lake Casino. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Christian. He is survived by his wife, Betty of the home, 3 sons, Stacy Williams and wife, Debbie of Earlsboro, Joseph Arthur Williams of Dallas and Travis Couch and wife Kelli of Salina, KS, 3 daughters, Sherry George of OKC, Donna McFarland and husband, Terry of Westerville, OH and Kimberley Silkwood and husband, Edward of Norman, brother, Gary Christian and wife Kathy of Broomfield, CO and 2 sisters, Dorothy June Manning of Antioch, CA and Marilyn Keeton of Del City, 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P. M. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Paylor Chapel.
