Joan G. Aronowitz, age 71, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Orange City, Florida.
Joan was born on October 16, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Benjamin and Ruth Cohen Eisenberg. She was a retired payroll specialist in the banking industry.
She is survived by her son; Larry Aronowitz of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Andrea Silvey of DeBary, FL; a brother, Alan Eisenberg of Newton, MA; a sister, Lenora Pinsky of Long Island, NY; 4 granddaughters, Caitlyn and Jocelyn Silvey and Laura and Ashley Aronowitz and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 11 am in the Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City FL, PH: 386-775-4260 with Rabbi Winston Weilheimer officiating. Interment will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens.
