Joan K. Sluder, born on February 22, 1934 and passed away on November 11, 2012 after a brief illness. Joan was born to Ann and William Schwarzel in Baltimore, MD and moved to Jacksonville in 1955. She was retired from a lifelong career in the banking industry. She loved her cat and was a huge sports fan. Joan never met a stranger. Joan is survived by her daughter, Sharon Green (John) and son, Rusty (Lynda). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jennie, Joshua and Kevin; and five great grandchildren. She has joined her granddaughter, Kelsey in heaven. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
