Mrs. Joanne G. Allen - a native of Custer, SD and a resident of Eight-Mile, AL since 2005, died Thursday, May 3, 2012 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents, Beven and Laura Graham; a sister, Melissa Graham; a brother, Harvey Graham; her twin sister, Jeanne Knust; and one son, Stephen Allen.
She is survived by her husband, Bud Allen; five children, Brian (Carol) Allen, William (Debra) Allen, Stuart (Manuela) Allen, Beverly Allen Wilkins, and Lori Allen Gayagas; one brother, David Graham; five grandchildren, Amanda Allen, Eric (Rebecca) Winberg, Nina (Taylor) Wilson, Lesley (Eric) Hale, and Aaron Winberg; two great-grandchildren, Thomas Winberg and Gabriel Wilson; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Allen was an example to all through her kindness, honesty, and generosity.
The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, May 7, 2012 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. She will be loved and missed by all.
