Joe A. Albrecht

May 30, 1936 - September 20, 2012
Joe A. Albrecht, 76, passed away September 20, 2011. He went to Heaven to join his wife Shirley Marie. He is survived by his loving children Joe (Jan) Albrecht Jr. and Debbie (Keith) Richardson; grandchildren John (Ashley) Albrecht, Christopher (Rebekah) Wright and Crystal Wright; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Gabrielle, Madison, Emilia, Olivia, Emma, Devin and the newest member to join our family in November 2012 is Logan. He is also survived by his sister Marylou (Ivan) Trapp, and his brother Leonard (Barbara) Albrecht and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Neal and Ella Pearl Albrecht. Joe was a loving, caring, compassionate husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He had a great sense of humor. His favorite thing was helping people and serving the Lord. He served and loved his country as well. He was in the US Air Force and the Naval Reserves during the end of the Korean War and the beginning of Vietnam, receiving an honorable discharge. He loved taking care of people. He also worked as a city fireman for 26 years and retired as captain. Joe was a member of Southwest Church of Christ for over 30 years, he was an avid member and helped as a benevolent minister serving his community. Viewing will be Monday 4-8pm, Imperial Funeral Home, funeral service Tuesday 10:00 am Southwest Church of Christ interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
