HACKNEY, Joe David "J.D." age 87 passed away on November `17, 2012 in Mt. Juliet, TN. Preceded in death by his parents, Prentiss and E. Gracie Fentress Hackney and a son Joe David Hackney Jr.; survived by his loving wife Catherine Birdwell Hackney; daughters, Cathy Elaine Hackney and Cheryl Lynn (John R.) Stone; grandchildren, Ross D. and Chelsia L. Stone. Joe served his country in the US Navy during WWII as a Signalman. Funeral service will be conducted by Brother Jim Day and Greg Rumburg on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM, with visitation Monday and Tuesday from 4 – 8, and Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
