John "Jack" Acolia, 89, of Toms River passed away Saturday December 3rd, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Trenton he also resided in Seaside Heights prior to moving to Toms River in 1996. He worked for GM as a laborer in Trenton for over 18 years and was active with Local Union. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Edna F. (nee Krystofik) and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday December 7th, 2011 from 9-11am at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be offered at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Trenton.
