John E. Adams, 88, of Venice, formerly of North Baltimore, OH died May 26, 2011.
Arrangements under the direction of National Cremation & Burial Society, Sarasota, FL.
Survivors include his wife, LaFerne; son, John Kenneth of Parkersburg, WV; sister, Margaret Nielsen of Escondido, CA; granddaughters, Kara Hartman of Vernon Hills, IL and Kimberly Adams of Grove City, OH; great-grandchildren, Anna and Josephine Hartman and Ellie and Cole Fisher; and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brother, Disk Adams.
John was a Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the LST 273, 797, and 902.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice House.
