John Michael Agnew, 89, of Memphis, passed away at his home on Monday, December 20, 2010. He was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church, retired from Memphis Light, Gas and Water and St. Joseph Hospital, and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Agnew, the husband of Mary Elizabeth Agnew for 63 years, also leaves three daughters, Theresa Agnew, Mary Regina Agnew and Claire Adkins (Eddie); four sons, Paul Agnew (Mary), Philip Agnew (Carol), Mark Agnew (Norma) and John Agnew, Jr. (Michele); fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Marie Myers. Mass will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 23, at St. James Catholic Church with interment to follow in Memory Gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
