John Charles Ashley, 90, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Isle of Watercrest in Bryan.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, May 11, 2012 at Wellborn Cemetery.
Mr. Ashley was born July 20, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the son of Geraldine (Cosgrove) Ashley and Earl Thomas Ashley.
He was a self taught civil engineer. Survivors include his children; William C. Ashley, Charlotte A. Victorero, and Michael Ashley and wife, Kathleen; a sister, Phylis Kimmey; and numerous grandchildren.
