John Robert "Bob" Elixman, 81, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013. He was born April 17, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late John Vincent and Catherine (Saylor) Elixman. Bob was a proud United States Marine veteran of the Korean War and member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. He retired from labor relations at Chrysler after 35 years of service. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marcia Elixman; children, John Kevin Elixman (wife, Beth), Beth Campbell, Kathy Hirtz-Bickel (husband, Rob), and Ric Elixman; grandchildren, David and Andrew Elixman, Sarah Campbell Lawrence (husband, Jarrod), Nathan and Kevin Campbell, and Travis, Kyle, and Paige Hirtz; and great granddaughter, Mimi Lawrence. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Barnabas Catholic Church, with visitation there one hour prior to the service.
