John Adam Fesperman 89 of Salisbury, passed away on February 22, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Salisbury. Born on April 22, 1923 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late James Wiley and Maggie Foutz Fesperman. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, he was a longime member of Organ Lutheran Church. He served his country in the US Army during WW11, and had since then made many trips to join his military friends for reunions. Mr. Fesperman retired from Cannon Mills after 45 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and farming. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Hallie Barger Fesperman on May 24, 2010. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Sue Rodgers (Larry) and Sylvia Bryan (David), both of Salisbury, brothers J.W. Fespersman Jr. (Ruth) of Kannapolis and Ray Fesperman (Fran) of Salisbury, sisters Velma Teddar of Statesville and Bonnie Sutton of Wisconsin. He also was survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 6-8 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis, with funeral on Monday at 2:00 at Organ Lutheran Church, with Rev. Carlin Ours, minister.
