HOY, John Chung Dock
July 20, 1935 - January 23, 2013
A generous and sociable individual who touched many lives. Former owner/operator of Hoy Industries Inc. A member of: the Choi Lee Fut Kung Fu Club (John was well known for his artistic style of lion dance drumming), the Chinese Freemason, Hoy Association, Elks Lodge, and Gizeh Shriners of BC, and most recently a memorable volunteer at the South Vancouver Neighbourhood House. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; his three daughters, Jean, Eva (Tim), and Lily (Gord); and five loving grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday February 1st, 2013 at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby.
