John "Jack" Charles Skahill -
February 11, 1931 - June 20, 2012
-Beloved husband of Arlene Skahill passed away peacefully in his home in Covina, California surrounded by his loved ones. Jack was born in Imogene, Iowa where he was one of eight siblings. He was a graduate of Farragut High School in 1948 and later went on to serve our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Arlene of 58 years, children Steven and wife Estella, Martin, Greg and wife Diane, Catherine, Peggy and husband Stacy, John, Phillip, brothers James and his wife Marie, Thomas, Francis and wife Marilyn, and sister Bonnie. He was also blessed with 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
- Jack's legacy will live on by the principles he stood for and the love he shared with all the people he met and those he cared for during his journey on this earth. Jack walked in his faith with the Lord every day, he was a devoted and loving husband and father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
- Rosary and memorial services will be held on Friday, June 29 beginning at 2:30 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Irwindale, CA. Interment will be private.
