John Tramontin, 65, of Winter Haven, Fla., passed away in Portland on September 16, 2013 from complications of a liver transplant.
John was born in New York City to Italian immigrant parents. After college, he served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and later became a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. In 1987, he married Mary Ellen Ingram of Winter Haven, Florida, where the couple made their home. Together they enjoyed 26 years of boating, fishing and traveling.
John's gusto for life, friends, and pasta will always be remembered.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Eva; and is survived by his wife, Mary; and a brother, Walter of San Antonio. A memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Skyline Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home Chapel, 4101 N.W. Skyline Blvd., Portland, Oregon.
