Johnnie Carl Dunn, 86, of Riesel passed away December 3, 2012 at a local care facility. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 4 from 5-7pm at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin. A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 5 at 2pm at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Waco.
Johnnie was born December 19, 1925 to Norris Wade Dunn and Ora Lee Yates Dunn at Bowman, Texas, near Hubbard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Margaret Golson Dunn; son Johnnie Carl Dunn Jr.; sister, Mamie Whatley; and brothers, Wade Dunn Jr., and Clifford Dunn.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Riesel; son, Billy Dunn and wife Debra of China Springs; Daughter, Marsha Sulak and husband, Randy of China Springs; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nell Hoffmeyer and husband Ernest of Rockdale, and Alice Hyde of Bellmead; and brother, Jack Dunn and wife Jeanette of Mineral Wells.
Johnnie will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
