Johnnie Paul "Buttons" Wilson, age 58 of Old Fort, NC died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his residence.
He was born January 27, 1954 in McDowell County, NC to John Henry Wilson of Morganton, NC and to the late Margaret Penland Wilson. Mr. Wilson loved puppies, fishing and hunting ginseng.
In addition to his father, surviving are two daughters, Fehlisa Wellborn and boyfriend, Shannon Mills of Old Fort, NC and Andrea Hensley and husband, Shawn of Marion, NC; one sister, Judy Howie and husband, Kevin of Old Fort, NC; four grandchildren, Savannah and Nelson Wright, Mark Mills and Hannah Hensley; and two nieces, Missy and Tassy.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at New Testament Baptist Church with Pastor Harry Kidd officiating.
