Joseph "Joe" Edwin Alexander, 76, of Twin Barns Road, Greeneville, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at his home.
He was self employed and retired from Joe's Lawn Service.
Mr. Alexander was a member of Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife: Mary L. Alexander; a daughter and son-in-law: Kimberly and Robert Connell of Cleveland, Tennessee; grandchildren: Kent Connell and Kathleen Connell; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Albert and Mozell Alexander of Ft. Towson, Oklahoma and Lynn and Carol Alexander of Morrow, Ohio; on sister: Lois Ann Hall of Bradenton, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and five step children.
He was the son of the late Albert Paul and Kathleen Eutella Ayers Alexander and was preceded in death by a sister: Vivian Helen Alexander; and a twin brother: Jack Alexander.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Pastor Rick Ohsiek will officiate. Interment will follow at Timber Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randy Masters, Kyle Wills, John Baxter, Jerry Moore, Charles R. Bowers, and Kyle Morrell.
Honoraray pallbearers will be Lynn Alexander, Albert A. Alexander, Richard Alexander Meade, and David Alexander Hall.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
