Joseph T. Adams passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010. He was 87. He is survived by two grandchildren, Charles Adams Jr. and Dale Lupe, as well as a niece, Elizabeth Adams and her husband, Michael Cornish. He will be greatly missed by his canine companions, Rusty and Midnight. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army in Europe. He was part of the American contingent at Normandy on D-Day.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Sunday Evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Monday from 9:00 AM until the Mass. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Mausoleum.
