Everyone who knows Joe would agree
He is lighthearted, joyful and carefree.
Joe is loving, compassionate and easy to please
He always put everyone he knows at ease.
Joe would be the first to help should the need arise
He would give you “the shirt off his back”, that’s no surprise.
Joe made the Air Force his main career.
As an electronic technician, was awarded Outstanding Airman of the Year!
Joe is a devoted sports fan,
Red Sox, Bruins and of course a Patriots man.
A husband, a father, a brother , a son
He was many names to everyone.
Gramps, Papa, Pops are the words you would hear,
And see a smile on his face, when his grandkids were near.
Even when his health became frail
He would lighten the mood with a joke or a tale.
Not an unkind word was said of the man,
We all dearly love JOSEPH POWELL CALLAHAN!
With all my love,
