Peacefully after a brief illness, with his family by his side, at Markham Stouffville Hospital Uxbridge Site on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012 at 54 years of age. Beloved husband of Helen for 23 years. Loving father of Matthew and Dina. Dear son of Vera and the Late Stefan Laki. Dear brother of Steven (Suzanne) and the late Annie Haza. He will be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Nevenka Granic (Mate-predeceased), sisters-in-law Mary (Angelo Aloisio), Ana (Marco Ciasca), his nieces and nephews Melissa, Shawn, Kevin, Kristina, John, Daniel, Luca and his Uncle Tony. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, November 23rd, from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (1710 Scugog Street, Port Perry) on Saturday, November 24th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
