Josie was born in Cimarron Kansas on Oct.24, 1921.
Was raised in Los Angeles CA, she had a sister Eloise
and has a brother named Pete.
Josie married Richard Acosta on Feb. 22, 1941
they were married for 44 years.
They had six children Richard Jr., Margie, Dolores,
Adele (Fina), Robert, And Ron, which were all raised
In Pico-Rivera. Josie was blessed with 13 grand-
children, 11 great grandchildren, and one great
great grandchild .Josie loved going to casino's
Whenever she could and of course doing her
scratchers and lotto tickets a weekly must. She liked
shopping, and in her earlier years she loved doing
crafts, and selling them at the boutiques. Josie loved
going to her Senior club every Tuesday rain or shine,
feeling good or not, she always made it to her club ,
even on the Tuesday before her stroke.
Josie was a great sister wife, mother, friend, aunt and
Grandma. A Blessing in our lives, she was 91 years old
and will be greatly missed ,but forever in our hearts.
