Josephine was born May 12, 1923 to Ricardo and Balbina (Magante) Pareja, in the Philippines.
She married Robert H. Babb on May 15, 1948 in the Philippines.
Mrs. Babb passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 in a local hospital.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband in 1994 and eighteen siblings.
Survivors include a daughter Tess Babb of Temple; three grandchildren, Ralph Hitzegrad Jr. and his wife, Sylvia, Jeff Hitzegrad and David Hitzegrad, all of Temple; and three great grandchildren, Craig and Daniel Hitzegrad, both of Temple, and Kealey Hitzegrad of Gatesville.
Funeral services for Josephine P. Babb, 88, of Temple will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be Wednesday, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home.
