Josephine "Nini" (Salvagno) Pikarsky, 77, of Camillus, passed away Friday August 16, 2013 at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Solvay to the late August and Elizabeth (Maestri) Salvagno. She was a graduate of Solvay High School and lifelong communicant of St. Cecilia Church. She was a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club Ladies Auxiliary, the Elks Club Auxiliary and the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Committee. The rock of the family, she was a loving wife, mother and nana. Josephine was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Martin, Sr. in 2012.
She is survived by 3 sons, Martin Jr. (Connie), of LaFayette, Daniel, of Camillus and Darrin, of Charlotte, NC, a daughter, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a brother, Albert (Sylvia) Salvagno, of Solvay, 2 godchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 am in St. Cecilia Church, Solvay. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Monday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
