There are no words to describe the absolute devastation and heartbreak we feel over the tragic and senseless loss of our beloved Josh. Josh approached life with joy, gratitude and a positive outlook and anyone who met him was touched by his smile. We will forever miss that smile.
Josh is much loved by his parents, Barclay and Kelly; sister, Michaela; his Nano, Fran Fraser as well as a large, extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins and his brothers-in-music, Barry Mason and Kyle Tenove. Josh attended Red Deer Lake School from grade 1 to 9 and Bishop Carroll High School in Calgary. He had just completed his second year at the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business where he was planning to major in accounting. His true passion was music and he was looking forward to many more days and nights of jamming and performing with his band Zachariah and the Prophets. The outpouring of support from family and friends and the many condolences coming in from the Priddis and Calgary communities has been, and is, the only thing sustaining us as we try to make sense of life without Josh. Our deepest sympathies go out to Zack Rathwell's family as well as to the other families who lost their most cherished loved ones.
