Joyce Ann Alston was born October 7, 1958 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Frankie and Joseph Alston. She was the 4th child in the family. Joyce Ann accepted Christ at a early age, she was raised at Cox Upper room Church Of God In Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop Cox. She graduated from Valley High in 1976. After High School she attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she majored in accounting.
Joyce was the first black employee at Merrill Lynch Stock Exchange in Las Vegas. Joyce left Merrill Lynch to pursue a career in gaming at that she became employed at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel as a craps dealer.
Joyce loved the world of fashion and modeling, she attended the Lenz modeling school in 1978, she was a member of the KOZA Modeling group, where she performed in many local fashion shows as a Top Model.
She is survived by her daughter Jocelynn Alston, mother Frankie Alston, sisters, Vicki, Bridget and Carla. Her brothers Kevin and Joseph Alston Jr. She leaves to mourn her passing many nieces, nephew and a Host of friends and family.
She will be missed forever.
