Joyce Shirley Briddell, 83, of Duluth died Sunday, February, 3, 2013 at Aftenro Assisted Living. She was born October 30, 1929 in Duluth to Roy and Edith (Larson) Briddell.
Joyce worked for Goodwill as a sorter and was a member of Chum Church. She was a resident at Midtown for many years and attended Benedictine Day Activity Center. Joyce enjoyed embroidery and word search.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Brown and Evelyn Nelson; brother, Donald Briddell; and brother-in-law, Donald Cran.
Joyce is survived by her sister, Marlis Cran; nieces, Linda Jablonski, Barbara Sweet, Loni Cran-Hovis, Darlene Schroedel, and Bessie Nacey; nephews, Michael Briddell, Stewart, Douglas, and Darrell Cran, and Howard Nelson. She is further survived by great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Bell Brothers Jarvi Dowd 925 E 4th St. at 12 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral chapel. Interment at Oneota Cemetery.
