Juan Cota was born in Modesto, CA but has lived in Merced the majority of his life. Juan Cota was suddenly taken from us on March 15th and will be forever missed by many family members and friends. He was very family oriented. He enjoyed watching and attending his two favorite teams, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco Giants, games. Also, bowling, BBQ for family, camping, fishing, going to casinos and doing a variety projects. He had a big heart and would help anyone and everyone that he could. He was a father figure to many people in his life. There are a few sayings that describe him "Anything you needed, he had it or he would find it", "If it was broken, he'd fix it" and "If it was old, he'd bring it back to life".
