Judith A. Boggs, 60, of Evergreen St., Cortland, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 12, 2012.
A lifelong area resident, Judy was born November 19, 1951, the daughter of Wesley C. and Betty J. Craft Fisk.
She was a life member of the Church of the Redeemer, Cortland. Judy was a graduate of McGraw High School and TC3, earning an Associates Degree in Human Services and continued her studies in Psychology at Regents University, Virginia Beach, VA.
She had been employed as a housekeeper and home care aide, worked at ARC and the Cortland Savings Bank. Most recently Judy had been a Pre-K/Kindergarten teacher at Parkside Christian School and at OCM-BOCES.
Surviving is her son, Stephen Michael Boggs of Woodbridge, VA; daughter, Laura Josiephean Boggs of Cortland; her mother, Betty Fisk of McGraw; brother, David Fisk of Liverpool, NY; an aunt, Esther Fisk of Cortland; a niece, Sarah (Joe) Lutheran of Liverpool, NY; five great nephews and a very special and dear friend, Judy A. Johnson of Cortland.
She was predeceased by her father, Wesley C. Fisk in 2008.
Memorial services will be held at Noon on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Church of the Redeemer, 125 Tompkins St., Cortland, with Rev. Mick Leary, officiating.
Callings hours will be held at the Church of the Redeemer on Monday morning from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
