In the rising of the sun and in its going down,
We remember them.
In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter
We remember them.
In the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring,
We remember them.
In the blueness of the sky and in the warmth of summer,
We remember them.
In the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn,
We remember them.
In the beginning of the year and when it ends,
We remember them.
When we are weary and in need of strength,
We remember them.
When we are lost and sick at heart,
We remember them.
When we have joys we yearn to share,
We remember them.
So long as we live, they too shall live,
For they are now a part of us,
As we remember them.

Mrs. Lindau was my Mom's roomate at Carolina (Helen Poliakoff Proser). She always talked about her dear friend Judy. No doubt they are back together again. All my best to "Judy's" family.

Dear Debbie and Fern, Natalie and I were sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We first met her at Marisa's graduation party at Washington University and found her to be a very vibrant and intelligent woman. We saw her again at Marisa's NYU graduation and lastly at the engagement party which showed great love to make the effort to be with her granddaughter at these important occasions. She was a lovely woman and a joy to talk with. She will be missed by many. We will remember her in our prayers.

Dear Fern and Debbie, I was deeply saddened to hear of your mother's death. She holds a very special place in my heart as a surrogate grandmother since we moved in next door to her when I was eight. Home has not felt the same since she moved, and my whole family will miss her very much. I have many, many fond memories of Judy and will cherish the time I spent with her.

Dear Fern and Debbie: I was saddened briefly and selfishly when I received Debbie's email yesterday, as Judy will be missed sorely. However, I know she is in a better place after living a proud and fulfilling life.
It was my priviledge to know Judy and to call her my friend. I wlll recall her with great fondness, always.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
With love, Sonya

Dear Fern and Dear Debbie,
My sadness today is mixed in with wonderful memories of the many years I knew your mother and of the many, many, many years that your mother and mine were friends. May your own memories bring you comfort. I know that mine most certainly will.
With my loving best wishes,
Sheila Coplan Jonas
