Judith Ann "Judy" Arthur 67, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at her residence in Floyds Knobs.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Judy, along with her husband Sonny, were the former owner and operators of Sonny Arthur Motorcycle Shop in New Albany. She was also a former real estate broker, and former member of the Floyd County Planning & Zoning Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert N. "Sonny" Arthur; granddaughter, Kaitlyn C. "Katie" Arthur; and parents Clifford and Elizabeth Quick.
Survivors include sons, Delbert N. "Pete" Arthur, III Floyds Knobs and James Lloyd Arthur (Laura) , Floyds Knobs; sister, Carolyn Quick Sowers, Floyds Knobs; brother, Ronnie Quick (Mary Beth), West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, James D. Arthur and Nevada J. Shirley; niece: Amy Holland (Dennis) , nephews, Chris Sowers (Donah) and Stephen Quick and great-niece and Nephew, Olivia and Luke Holland.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kraft Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
