Passed away October 3, 2012 in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 61. She was born on March 31, 1951 in Mason, Michigan to Richard and Irene (Allen) Heinz, Sr. She has lived in the Mason area all her life and was currently living in the Shepherd Care Home in Leslie. She worked at the Big Boy in Holt and retired from Kroger's in Holt. Judy was a very kind and loving person. She loved going to the movies and picnics at the park. Some of her favorite things were horses, wolves and owls. She never had any children of her own; but, in her heart she adopted many. She loved to talk and had lots to say. Spending time with family and friends was the most important thing to her. Surviving are 2 brothers, Raymond (Teresa) Heinz, Larry Heinz, 2 sisters, Helen Heinz, Susan (Mike) Hill, 5 nephews and 2 nieces; Bryan (Tina) Heinz, Crystal (Sean) Farr, Corey and Ethan Lewis, Marcus, Alan and Michaela, along with 3 great nephews, Bryan Jr., Oscar, and Isaac Heinz. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Richard Heinz, Jr., a sister Sharon Lewis, 4 uncles and 6 aunts. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, with interment to follow at Hawley Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
