Julie Marie Bird, 40, passed away on August 10, 2011 in her residence.
She was born in Freeport, TX and lived in Lake Charles. She worked as an Insulator and Welder's helper in construction. She enjoyed riding motorcycles. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who especially loved her children and her friend Dwayne.
Survivors include her father, Kennith Bird Jr. of Silsbee, TX; mother, Mary P. Asbee Bird of Sulphur, LA; son, Ethan J. Rae of Milburn, OK; daughter, Olivia D. Scurlock and companion, Dwayne Scurlock of Lake Charles; brothers and sisters, Kennith D. Bird, III, Joseph L. Bird, Denise L. Bird, Deborah A. Bird, John F. Bird, Steven L. Bird, Kyle T. Bird, Erick L. Bird, Cody E. Bird, Coy R. Bird, Matthew M. Bird, Nancy E. Bird, Kaydee D. Bird, Syndey R. Bird.
Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m. til time of service.
