Julio Alcazar, age 78, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at his residence in Fresno, Ca.
Mr. Alcazar, prior to his retirement, had lived in San Jose, Ca. and owned and operated a concrete construction business.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Alcazar; daughter, Yvonne O'Connell; son-in-law, Daniel O'Connell; brothers, Abel, Adan, and Gildardo Alcazar; sisters, Zenaida Alcazar R, Maria Alcazar; granddaughters, Luci Della-Maggiore and her husband Christopher Della-Maggiore, Amanda Russo and her husband Joseph Russo and Magdalena O'Connell; great-grandchildren, Sam Della-Maggiore, Darcy Della-Maggiore and Chloe Russo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, 4636 W. Dakota Ave. in Fresno on Wednesday November 9, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Mary Queen of Apostles Building Fund.
