Karen K. Ellis, age 70, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away on Friday afternoon, January 6, 2012 at the Henry County Hospital.
Karen was born on June 27, 1941 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Clyde and Lucille (Beard) Barton. She married James William Ellis, Jr. on July 6, 1963 and he passed away on January 27, 2007.
Karen worked as a LPN at the former Heller Memorial Hospital and The Henry County Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Malinta, Ohio.
Karen is survived by a daughter, Laura (Michael) Ellis-Kruse of Napoleon, Ohio and a son James (Jenni) Ellis III of Sharon Center, Ohio; four grandchildren, Ryan Kruse, Alyssa Kruse, Abigail Ellis and Jay Ellis; two brothers, Bill (Pat) Barton of Napoleon, Ohio and Gene (Sheila) Barton of Elephant Butte, New Mexico.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband and a son Timothy W. Ellis.
Services and interment will be private.
There will be no visitation.
The family suggest memorial contributions be given to the Hospice of Henry County or a charity of the donor's choice.
