KAREN ANNE KLEMM, 67, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Lutheran Life Villages. Born Nov. 11, 1945, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Margaret Stoppen hagen. She was a member of Promise Ministries. She was a retired secretary at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Surviving are her son, Bryan (Cathy) Klemm of Indianapolis; daughter, Sheri (Joel) Springer of Oxford, Mich.; grandchildren, Abby and Becca Klemm and Paul and Hannah Springer; brothers, Robert Stoppenhagen of Winston-Salem, N.C., David (Joyce) Stoppenhagen of Boise, Idaho and Ken (Barb) Stoppenhagen of Peoria, Ill.; and sister, Mary (Phil) Bayes of St. Louis, Mo. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lowell E., in 2000. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Promise Ministries, 7323 Schwartz Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Henry Graff officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road.
