Kathleen Alexander, 49, passed away at home, February 3, 2013 after a seven-year valiant fight with cancer. She is survived by her mother, Anita T. Alexander, brother, Rev. J. Alexander and wife Donna, niece Jill Levario and great-nephew Alexander Johnson, and many beloved family members and friends.
Kathleen was a 1982 graduate of North Mesquite High School and attended college locally. She was a gifted musician in voice, piano, and flute, making All-State Band and Choir all four years of high school. She share her musical gifts directing church and youth choirs, show groups as well as teaching voice and piano privately.
Kathleen enjoyed life, and had many dear friends who appreciated her love of Winnie the Pooh, Hello Kitty, Starbucks and sweet tea.
