Kathleen Causey Bailey
COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Kathleen Causey Bailey, 78, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel.
Mrs. Bailey was born December 14, 1933 in Wampee, SC and passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Mark Causey and Queenie Milligan Causey. Mrs. Bailey was a member of Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church. She was a 1953 graduate of Spartanburg Jr. College and a 1957 graduate of Columbia College with a B.S. in Education. Mrs. Bailey was a lifetime member of the National Teacher's Association.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband of 57 years, William "Bill" G. Bailey; sister, Mitchell C. Evans and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church, 530 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29210.
