January 7, 1920 - September 10, 2012
ANDERSON, Kathryn (Kae)
As much as she wanted to stay, Kae quietly left us on Monday, September 10, 2012 in her 93rd year. Left with beautiful memories are her devoted daughter Avia and husband Dennis Zahorouski, loving grandchildren Kelly (Primeau) Moynahan and husband Chris, Jason Primeau and wife Renee and her beautiful great grandchildren John, Kyle and Kaylee Moynahan and little Abby Primeau. Also survived by Kerry, Bill Jr. and Paul, nephew Malcolm Campbell, dear friends Leon and Locketa Grey and Cathy Polideri and her most precious kitty Ginger. Kae has rejoined her loving husband Fred (1968), sons Bill (2000), and Frank (1994), her Mom, Dad and brother Terry Rowe (1944). Kae enjoyed many years of nursing at Windsor Western (I.O.D.E) in Psychiatry. She loved flying with her husband (Windsor Flying Club), swimming, painting, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Later in Life, Kae and her companion Leo Renaud (1992) enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers and socializing with their neighbours at their winter home in Lakeland, Florida. Kae was given the best care for many years by Dr. Wally Liang and staff and more recently Dr. Banghu and Chris Meyers, Donna Kimble (CCAC), Brenda Smith, Dr.'s McLeod and Sheehan and the wonderful loving staff at Extendicare Tecumseh. Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Thursday, September 13th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Private Family service will take place at a later date. Kae will rest with her husband and sons at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Please join us in remembering Kae by visiting her memorial at www.andersonfuneralhomewindsor.com. In lieu of flowers donations to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated. Yes Mom, memories DO last forever. We know you will forever be watching over us from above and we will forever remember your loving compassionate heart, your strong will, positive attitude and your terrific sense of humour. Goodbye for now Sweet Lady!
