Kathryn Christine "Kathy" Andrews, age 56, of Tuscaloosa, passed away Aug. 8, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Laverne Fleenor and Hazel Garner Fleenor.
She is survived by her daughters, Angie Andrews and Kristy Andrews Acker (Billy); her sisters, Lynn Tullis, Laverne Williams, Diane Hughes, and Mary Sanders; her brother, Charles Fleenor; her grandchildren, Carson, Parker, Brennan, Ethan, and Emma Katherine; and her nieces and nephews.
Kathy was born March 13, 1955 in Tuscaloosa. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and Maw Maw. Her sense of humor and practical jokes will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
