Mr. Kevin S. Casey, age 61, of Lynn, died Sunday evening in the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Rita J. (Dow) Casey.
Born in Lynn, Kevin was the son of the late Russell N.S. and Barbara A. (Horak) Casey. He attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for Local #6 Asbestos & Pipefitters for 6 years and also spent 15 years as laborer at Pine Grove Cemetery. He was a member of the D.A.V. and was an avid sports fan.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, Kevin S. Casey, Jr. of Lynn. He was the brother of Russell Casey and Susan DeFelice of Somersworth, NH. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Scott A. Casey.
Kevin's Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-7PM.
