Lani Jean Holdorf, 59, of Drummond, WI, passed away unexpectedly December 20, 2013.
Lani was born July 16, 1954 to Carmen and Audry (Gardner) Nelson in Stoughton, Wisconsin.
She graduated from Edgerton High School. Lani married John Robert Holdorf September 26, 1981 at St. Williams Catholic Church in Janesville, WI. They celebrated 32 years of marriage together. Lani worked for 30 years for General Motors in Janesville, WI, until her retirement. They spent time at the cabin in the Drummond area for many years until in 2004 John and Lani moved to Drummond, where she was Assistant Postmaster in Drummond, Mason, Grandview, and Highbridge, WI, from 2008 until currently. Lani was active in the Cable Rod and Gun Club. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, motorcycle rides, and especially her dogs.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are; her husband John Holdorf, of Drummond, WI, her mother, Audrey Cone, of Adams/Friendship, WI, two brothers Terry (Diane) Nelson of Edgerton, WI, and Robbi (Kathy) Nelson of Edgerton, WI, one sister Traci Rameres, step daughter, Chris Kettle of Necedah, WI, step grandchildren, Nicholas, Gunner, and Mary, brother and sister-in-law, Bill (Valerie) Holdorf of Lake Nebagamon, WI, Judy (Robert) Hamm of Delevan, WI; and Theresa (David ) Keesey of Kenosha, WI, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Carmen Nelson, step-father, Robert Cone, mother and father-in-law, Henry and Anna Mae Holdorf.
