In Memory of

Larry Dean Anderson

April 13, 1953 - July 14, 2010
Larry D. Anderson, 57, of Seguin, TX passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2010 at the Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.
He grew up in the little town of Brady, Texas. His family were faithful members of a little Pentecostal church there, and Larry gave his life to Jesus at a young age. His father was the song leader, and he grew up loving gospel quartet music, which remained his favorite style even as he grew older. He participated in a variety of different school and community activities, but always put God first in his life. He graduated from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas and became a pharmacist.
He fell in love with and married Miss Judith Thompson in 1976, and they raised two boys - Chris and Greg. Larry loved being outdoors. He and his family spent many hours by rivers, lakes, and the ocean camping, fishing, hiking, and boating. Enjoying God's beautiful creation caused him to draw closer to God and his family in a very special way.
Larry was a very loving and devoted husband and father. His wife and sons loved him beyond measure.

Larry also had a calling on his life to support and be involved with spreading the Gospel through mission work. He participated in 5 short-term mission trips over the past 7 years, and couldn't wait to go back. He served in his church as an Elder and prayer minister, and will be missed greatly.

He is survived by wife, Judith Anderson of Seguin, Texas; Sons, Christopher Anderson and wife Erin of Irvine, CA and Gregory Anderson and wife Jenna of San Marcos, TX; brothers, Richard Anderson and wife Linda of San Antonio, TX and Harold Anderson and wife Cassandra of Levelland, TX; Brother-in-law, Micheal Thompson of Austin, TX; sister-in-law, Cynthia Vaught of Lincolnton, GA; father and mother in law, Lloyd and Beverly Thompson of San Marcos, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn Anderson and Ruby Fikes Anderson.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Sunday at the Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels, TX with the family present to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
