Larry Roger Barnes went home to be with his Savior Tuesday, February 9, 2010. He was born March 4, 1946 to Robert and Inez (Shroyer) Barnes. He was married on September 9, 1966 in Sidney, Ohio to the former Janet Allen. Larry was known as a kind and generous man, a hard worker and one who cherished family above all.
Surviving with his wife are three children - Terri (Tom) Poje, Larry (Shannon) Barnes II, Dina (Kelly) Kiehborth, five grandchildren and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Beard officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
