Andrews, Laura Johnson –age 77, passed away, Friday, September 23. She was a member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Andrews; parents, Warren and Nadine Johnson; and sister, Carolyn Stansberry. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dave Smith of Woodstock, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Nancy Andrews of Old Hickory, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Randy Kelley of Simpsonville, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Jim Watson of Maryville, TN; and son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Leanne Andrews of Morristown, TN; grandchildren: Savannah and Sierra Smith, Hank Andrews, Christopher and Caroline Kelley, and Kaitlin and Emma Andrews; and brother-in-law: H.T. "Skip" Stansberry. Laura was born in 1934 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She married Henry Andrews in1954 and enjoyed 40 years of married life together before his death in 1994. They raised 5 children, loved the outdoors and showed others how to be Christians by the way they lived. Friends and family will forever cherish memories of Laura who loved introducing nature to others, serving her church, experimenting with cooking, photography, sewing and above all, caring for her children and grandchildren for whom she was an ever-present source of love, devotion and encouragement. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Laura's life on Friday, September 30 at 5:00 pm during a memorial service at Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. A celebration of Life will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.
