Laura Genevieve Ashby, 92, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. She was born October 8, 1920, in Petersburg, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Ashby; two sons; and a grandson.
Laura is survived by her granddaughters, Quintil Ashby and Misty Majors (Clint); and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bill Brunton. Friends may visit Saturday, 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
