LEAH ABRAMS (Greifer), 82, passed away peacefully June 9th. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Pauline (Brookner) Greifer.
Leah graduated from Classical High School and attended Pembroke College. She was a member of Temple Beth El.
Leah is survived by her daughter, Sharon Held of New York City, and son Steven Abrams and his wife Donna of Providence. She leaves 2 brothers Burton Greifer and his wife Carole of Barrington and Richard Greifer of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and a sister, Yvette Kahn and her husband Morley of Greenwich, CT. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren Brett and Lindsay Abrams.
Her funeral service will be held Sunday at 10 AM in the SUGARMAN-SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 458 Hope St., Providence. Calling hours will be Sunday from 7-9 pm at 455 Wayland Ave. Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Concordia Learning Center at St. Joseph's School for the Blind, 761 Summit Ave. Jersey City, NJ 07307.
