Leanna Marie Anderson of Flint, Texas died October 5, 2012, of natural causes.
Leanna was born in Dallas on January 27, 1949 to the late James Kirk and Stella Kuczaj Kirk. She moved to Erie, Pennsylvania with her family, in grade school, where she lived until she moved to Tyler with her husband and three young daughters in 1979. Leanna was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Anderson, daughter Katie Brown, and sister Janine Kirk.
She is survived by a large family including three sisters, Heidi Berarducci, Mary Mendez, and Maggie Allen, and by four brothers, Jeff Kirk, Mark Kirk, Jude Kirk, and Sam Kirk, her two daughters Samantha Brown and Jessica Brown, and granddaughter Eleanor Stehn.
Leanna attended Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and loved God from an early age. She loved her children fiercely. She will be missed by many family and friends.
There will be a visitation at Lloyd James Funeral Home Friday 5-7pm. Graveside services will be in Cathedral in the Pines at 10am on Saturday.
