Leslie B. Barnett, 73, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born April 4, 1937 in Warrick County.
He was a member of the Nazarene Baptist Church and retired from SIGECO.
Leslie is survived by his wife of 23 years, Brenda; daughters, Brigett Barnett, Yvette Brown, Sonya Smith, Julie Barnett, Londa Krienkamp; son, Leslie Barnett, Jr.; stepson, Arther Pagett, sisters, Ann Clinkscales, Carol Davis, Kathrine Webb; brother, Raymond Barnett; several grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Services will be 12 PM, Monday, February 21, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Matthew Hale, with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Wake will be Monday, 10 AM to service time at the funeral home.
